Centaur Products Inc. is pleased to represent the
REC-TURF Portable Turf System, which is a unique
sports surface that will accommodate traditional
field activities indoors. Differing from the current
single blade synthetics and in-fill systems, our
REC-TURF product is made with a durable blend of
polypropylene and nylon fibers sewn into a reinforcing
scrim layer. The distinctive needle-punched loop
design allows for the use of Velcro seams and game
lines on the surface of the material. This feature
eliminates costly line painting and provides the
option of customizing the field's layout for each
activity.
The owners of our existing fields are impressed
by the ease with which they can handle and transport
the product during field conversions. Individual
standard rolls measure 3 feet in diameter and
are manufactured to a maximum 13 feet wide by
250 feet long, weighing 1200 pounds. REC-TURF
has a 1/2 inch pile height and can be supplied
with a separate REC-PAD component for increased
